Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Drovotech handles personal information when you visit our website, request a quotation, become a customer, use a client portal, contact support or purchase services from us.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on your relationship with us, we may collect your name, business name, email address, telephone number, billing and service information, enquiry and project details, correspondence, account information, support records and technical information generated when you use our website or customer systems.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, enter into and perform contracts, provide and support services, administer customer accounts, issue invoices, process and reconcile payments, maintain security, prevent misuse, keep appropriate business records and comply with legal obligations.

4. Lawful bases

Where UK data-protection law applies, our processing may be based on performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations or consent, depending on the activity concerned.

5. Service providers

We may use carefully selected third parties to provide infrastructure, hosting, email, cloud productivity, communications, payment processing, analytics or other services. Where relevant, this can include hosting providers, Microsoft 365/CSP suppliers, email-service providers and payment processors. Their own terms and privacy notices may also apply.

6. Payments

Where payment is processed by an external payment provider, payment-card information is handled by that provider according to its own security and privacy arrangements. Drovotech does not intend to store full payment-card details in its application where hosted or provider-managed payment processing is used.

7. International transfers

Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we take appropriate steps to ensure relevant safeguards are in place for international transfers.

8. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including contractual, accounting, security and legal requirements. We use proportionate organisational and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

10. Cookies

Our website may use necessary cookies and, where enabled, optional functional, analytics or marketing technologies. Please see our Cookie Policy and cookie-preference controls for further information.

11. Contact and complaints

Questions or requests concerning privacy can be sent through the Drovotech contact page. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or another competent data-protection authority.
